JZ Books is a VIRTUAL bookkeeping services business that utilizes QuickBooks Online (QBO) to service our clients. We are based in West Chester, PA but servicing clients anywhere in the country.

We provide stress-free bookkeeping to allow our clients to spend more time on operations and growing their business to maximize profit.

Janet is a Certified QBO Advanced ProAdvisor and Maxie is a Certified Service Dog. Janet has 22 years experience working in the financial services industry. Maxie has 2 years experience as being my helper.

Our Services

Core Bookkeeping Services

  • Recording all financial activities daily, such as sales, invoices, and expenses, in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

  • Reconciliation of client’s records against bank records for checking, credit card, and loan accounts to ensure accuracy, detect errors, or identify fraud.

  • Manage accounts payable (AP) by recording and paying vendor bills.

  • Manage accounts receivable (AR) by invoicing customers and collecting and recording payments.

  • Recording payroll transactions via integration with payroll application such as Gusto, ADP, etc.

  • Generating reports (as needed) such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, AP/AR Summary and Details, and Cash Flow Statements to provide a snapshot of the businesses health.

  • Tax preparation support, working closely with CPA firms to ensure they have details needed to complete/submit all tax forms.

Add On Services

  • Cleanup - involves analyzing, correcting, reorganizing historical financial data to ensure accuracy for tax and reporting purposes.

  • Catchup - involves systematically organizing, recording, and reconciling past financial data to bring accounts up to date to ensure accuracy for tax reporting.

  • Completing/Filing 1099s - help business owner with process of providing W-9s to vendors and contractors and collecting the completed form to help with completing the 1099s for filing purposes.
